I recently got the opportunity to make a small master copy study of the beautiful N.C. Wyeth painting, The Locating Engineer. I was shocked to learn such a rare and beautiful academic work was located at the museum close by. A real treasure!
I was given five days to work at the museum. Here are some progress shots from the first four days.
Here is the final piece and some pictures taken of me and the painting by the museum staff.
A big thank you goes out to the museum director and the wonderful staff at The Browsnville Museum of Fine Art for allowing me to work and learn on site, they have a fantastic collection and can’t wait to see what other treasures they have.
